“Former Taiping general Liu Hedong lives in Baling
with his daughter, running a small sculpture shop.
One day, a wealthy businessman named Yang invites
him to his boat, and pleads for him to copy the
famous Yueyanglou plaques.
Liu, believing the businessman is quite sincere,
readily agrees. After a day and night of hard work,
he makes a replica worthy of the original. However,
the businessman suddenly disappears and Liu is
shocked to find that the real Yueyanglou plaques
have been replaced with his copy. Meanwhile, a
mysterious person starts murdering people in town.
Liu Hedong vows to retrieve the real plaques, but
finds himself embroiled in a conspiracy, his true
